Integrative Learning Centre
Opening September 2007!
Integrative Learning Centre is an organization specifically created to support and provide services to non-traditional students who are struggling with learning difficulties and to their families who need academic support and guidance when learning difficulties exist. Integrative Learning Centre is not a school—our services are a piece of the puzzle that families choose as part of their school program to help their children achieve academic and personal success.
Integrative Learning Centre is staffed by an educational therapist, highly trained educational therapy instructors, an occupational therapist, a speech pathologist, and a teacher whose academic endorsements include special education, deaf education, cognitive impairments, and psychology. The learning environment is designed for students who have unique learning styles and needs due to a learning disability or a developmental disability. In addition to providing individualized instruction in reading, writing, spelling, math, science, and critical thinking skills, we help students struggling with:
ADD/ADHD
Asperger’s Syndrome
Dyslexia
Dyspraxia
Dysgraphia
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Auditory Processing Disorders
Visual Processing Disorders
Sensory Integration Disorder
Integrative Learning Centre offers half- and full-day schedule flexibility Monday through Friday throughout the school year (36 weeks between September and June).
